Prologue
Today (2026-02-15), I got a new perspective on note-taking.
Taking notes is not about collecting information and rewarding yourself, to feel like you’ve worked hard, but MAKE CONNECTIONS.
To make connections, you need to structure your notes at the lowest level as individual “cards” (basically talking about one topic), then at the higher level, you will get a chance to connect those cards together, to rekindle your old knowledge, reconnect with what you already know, and eventually generate new insights.
From today (2026-02-15) onwards, I will restructure my notes in this way, try to make connections, and see how it goes.
